Thorsten Schölver has been managing partner of concimus GmbH in Munich since 2018. concimus advises corporations and SMEs in the areas of supply chain management/procurement/lean production and strategy. In addition, concimus implements M&A topics in the SME sector.
From 2001-2018 he was managing partner of Contemplor GmbH - a consulting company with similar focuses as concimus GmbH. He was/is co-founder of various other companies, e.g. in the IT security environment, as well as in the advisory board of start-up companies.
Before founding Contemplor, he was a member of the European/German Management Team at Amazon.com from 1999-2001, where he was responsible for (IT)Purchasing in Europe/Germany, respectively "Special Projects".
This included, for example, sub-project management for the construction of the office in France/Japan and the expansion of the logistics centre in Bad Hersfeld. Before joining Amazon.com, he was a trainee at Siemens AG in central purchasing in Munich, as well as internal consultant for procurement in the area of production and logistics systems (placement machines).
He holds an Executive MBA from State University at Albany, New York, USA. His numerous projects have enabled him to build up expertise in various industries (e.g. energy/renewables, mechanical engineering, plant construction, pharmaceuticals, IT, eCommerce) as well as in national and international environments and cross-functional teams.
